What does a heating tune-up include on a gas furnace?
On this visit, we checked ignition, the flame sensor and the heat exchanger. We also checked airflow and ran the system in heating and cooling modes. The visit included a filter change, but not because the filter had failed.
What happened on this visit
The homeowner had a replacement filter ready. Our technician found the filter in place was still in good condition and installed the homeowner’s filter at their request. The technician also checked the outdoor electrical components and recorded satisfactory operation at the end of the visit.
