What can I ask for when booking a preventive AC tune-up?
Describe whether the AC has stopped cooling or whether you want to check a working system. This was a maintenance visit: our technician evaluated the indoor and outdoor equipment, flushed the drain and washed the outdoor unit.
What happened on this visit
The electrical, airflow and refrigerant checks were satisfactory, and the technician recorded that the AC was cooling. Duct cleaning came up as a recommendation. It was not part of the work completed on this visit.
When you review a maintenance summary, look for two separate lists: what was done that day and what you might consider later. That distinction matters even when everything is running.
